Audience Feedback: Survey Monkey
For my audience feedback I used the SurveyMonkey program to compile evidence for positives and negatives of the initial pitch...
^ These are my questions.
I presented my pitch to the class. 4 class members gave me feedback however one respondent (although very slim detail) highlighted the same points as the others so Im using this as evidence...
Overall the pitch received a positive response, the most intriguing comment was the one from above which talks about using low key lighting. This is a really good idea as it matches the mise en scene of the piece and conventions of the thriller genre.

Soundtrack or VoiceOver ?
As of yet I'm unsure whether to use a soundtrack or VoiceOver. Both have advantages which makes it rather difficult to decide on which to use.
The VoiceOver
+ Meets the conventions of the thriller genre
+ Highlights key plot points
- Doesn't match the action on screen
- No part in the opening which can show who is actually talking
Soundtrack
+ Depending on what audio is chosen it matches the actions onscreen
+ Emphasises the pace and destruction of the piece
- Doesn't allow any narrative to come into the piece so to speak
- Might have too many complications for when I use slow motion
Overall I think equally both have the positives I need for my opening so I may in fact use both. For example I could have a short VoiceOver to introduce the scene and continue with a soundtrack.
